What do we do?

Square Deal have been trading since 1975 in the electrical business, and over the years the services and products we offer has changed and grown.

We sell Electrical and Gas appliances for the home, as well as some commercial products. We also offer a Rental Service on Electrical appliances, through our sister company AZ Rental. But it's not just Sales and Rentals, we also offer repairs on Electrical appliances and are registered repair agents for some manufacturers and insurance providers. Need a spare part? We can help with that too, with thousands of parts listed on our Spares Sites and many more available for direct ordering. If the part exists we can probably get it for you!

If you order an item for collection we will always advise you once it is ready to be collected.

New Energy Labels

In 2020 a new appliance Energy label was introduced in the UK to make comparisons easier. The new Energy Labels will range from G up to A Rated, much simpler than the current labels which have ratings including A, A+++, A+++-20% etc. The new labels will also display a QR Code giving access to product information and a simplified Consumption / Usage measurement.

This will mean most appliances sold in 2020/21 will have two Energy Labels / Ratings allowing comparisons between the old and new systems. From late 2021 appliances will only be supplied with the new Energy Labels.

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE FROM STOVES, BELLING AND NEW WORLD

DO NOT OPERATE GAS RANGE COOKERS WITH THE GRILL DOOR CLOSED.

When the grill is operating, the grill door must always be in the open position. If the grill is operated with the grill door closed, the air supply to the grill burner is restricted causing dangerous levels of carbon monoxide to be produced.

If you have any concerns, call 0800 110 5728 with your product code and serial number. The lines are open 9-5pm Monday – Friday. The serial number can be found on the data plate at the front edge of main over door and on the rear of the appliance.

Appliance Use:

All gas appliances must be installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the cooker. Correct use and adequate ventilation is essential to ensure safe use of these cookers. Using an appliance for any purpose, other than that for which it is designed, can cause serious safety issues. The grill cavity in these appliances is designed for open door grilling and the grill must not be used as an oven, a space heater, or any other purpose.

Using an appliance in accordance with the manufacturers instructions applies to all manufacturers. Any appliance used incorrectly can pose serious safety issues and will invalidate any guarantee and in some cases any other insurance you may have in relation to it or the premises in which it is being used.

URGENT SAFETY NOTICE FROM BELLING 20/04/2023

Belling have recently identified a potential quality issue with certain Belling gas hobs installed in holiday homes and caravans manufactured after May 2019.
This is a serious issue which could pose a risk to health, or even death.
Safety is our highest priority. We would ask that all potential owners do the following:
1. Isolate the gas supply
2. Contact Belling to arrange a free of charge modification via:

It is vital that all Belling gas hobs detailed below, installed in a holiday caravan manufactured after May 2019, are urgently inspected and modified. This will be conducted free of charge.
Until the modification is completed by a registered Gas Safe engineer, the gas supply to the hob MUST be isolated. Once the simple modification is completed, the hob will be safe to use.

Belling accords the highest priority to safety, and it is vitally important that consumers do not use their gas hob. They MUST isolate the gas supply immediately, by turning off the isolation valve to the appliance, or to the holiday home or caravan.
